It dries your clothing, etc., but looks like it may break in 5 years.

Poor quality (service call made already) machine. Low quality materials used to build it resulting in noisy operation short longevity. The machine needed service after two weeks.

We loved our old gas dryer but it had outlived its useful life. We found a basic affordable replacement in this unit. Pros: Very affordable unit made by Whirlpool. Has both timed and sensor settings with low and high heat. Also has air only setting. Large capacity. Delivery person was professional and courteous; he installed it quickly and took the old unit away. Cons: The door swings open and is a little hard on the fingertips to open. Overall, this unit is an excellent value for the money and suits my family's needs very well.

I know the Amana name and I knew right away when I saw this dryer that I could trust that it would be a product that has great quality for the price. Though I would have preferred a larger and more expensive dryer, right now I just needed something inexpensive that would get the job done. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the dryer that it really does just as much as the big expensive ones. I picked Amana over other brands because I grew up in Iowa where Amana products are made and I know they put a lot of quality into their appliances.

I wanted a basic gas dryer that was economic. I got that and more. While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the current dryers have such as steaming..etc, it performance has been surprising. The energy perferred setting dries the clothes and then senses that they are dry and run cooler air to the end of the cycle leaving the clothes without wrinkles and using less energy to boot.. If you are looking for a no nonsense dryer and at a great price I highly reccomend it.

For the price, its a great product, it is quiet, and dries things pretty quickly.

Good dryer, dries quickly. Only issue is that link trap gets full and for whatever reason the lint is hard to remove from the screen.

Excellent buy for the money. Works great. I will recommend this product for family use.

The old drier broke. We wanted something cheap. We wanted something we could understand that didn't have a GUI user interface and a web browser and was internet ready. We wanted gas. It met the bill. Let's hope it lasts the family, but it has been good for two months. Pros: Dries clothes. Is cheap. Cons: Noisy.

Great simple dryer for a low price and does the job of drying clothes well

So let me begin with ....the POWER CORD...I ordered a GAS dryer and after going to the store and calling..chatting on line. I was told that I NEED a power cord. So I get one! The only problem was that it was for an ELECTRIC dryer! THIS GAS dryer came with a cord!!! So NOW once again I have to go to the store and get my money back!!! So if you are getting this in a GAS dryer NO NEED for the cord....Other than that so far I am happy with it...

I assume the dryer will work great once installed. I felt misled by the website, and purchased 2 "required for installation" extra parts. Turns out that delivery does not include installation for propane users. I would have purchased elsewhere if that was clear to me, and now I will have to visit a store to return two extra items.

Dried towels for over 80 minutes...still not dry. Not sure what dryer can be used for. Doesn't dry at all. Extremely disappointed after reading reviews how others say so great. Not worth it. If you want dry clothes, buy something else. Returned to Best Buy. Cheap is not better. Bought after Thanksgiving with deep discounts. Still not worth it. Pass on this no matter how enticing price or reviews.
