    Aw...Shucks Folks... It's a dryer. Hope it lasts as long as the old Whirlpool Unit, which was 17 years without a single issue. Just periodically clean the vent. P.s. It's a NATURAL GAS unit, as opposed to LP (Propane). They don't make that clear on the Site. Note: Model # starts with NG....

    Purchased this for my mother because she had an AMANA that was 20 + years old and the price was right. Ultimately we ended up sending the AMANAs back and upgrading to LG. If you can afford it spend a little more, but still an OK product. Best Buy was very helpful.

    My first Amana dryer. I like the energy conservation setting, along with the automatic dry cycles. It's hoped improved efficacy with this new dryer will help lower energy use and cost - for our laundry.

    For a basic dryer it has worked well for 3 years. 5 stars for the energy efficient option so the clothes don’t get over-dried. 1 star for not shutting off when the cycle is done after 3 years of use.
