It worked for about a week, and then it stopped heating up. My husband checked our air vent and everything was fine. We were told we would be sent a test kit to make sure it wasn't an issue on our end before they would send someone to come and fix it. This was over a week ago, and we still have not received the test kit. Everytime we look at the tracking number it says delayed. I'm extremely upset with this company, and I definitely don't recommend this dryer.

Even with totaltech they wont repair it!! This dryer is not working and parts are not in stock with 3rd party local repair service contracted by Amana. Appliance Rescue aka 800appliance.com is terrible and inexperienced techs are sent to make repairs that will breakdown over and over

Energy efficient

WHEN GEEK SQUAD CAME TO INSTALL THE DRYER, HE COULD NOT. HE TOLD US TO CALL A HEATING A COOLING COMPANY TO ADD NEW LINE. OK FINE, WE SET UP AN APPOINTMENT WITH VANDERHYDE RIGHT THEN AND THERE. GEEK SQUAD WAS SUPPOSED TO HOOK THE OLD DRYER UP TO THE GAS, BUT HE DIDN'T DO IT CORRECTLY AND WE HAD GAS POURING OUT ALL THROUGH THE HOUSE. WE AGAIN HAD TO CALL VANDERHYDE TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY STOP TO COME AND HOOK THINGS UP. WE HAD GAS FUMES FLOATING THOUGH THE HOUSE FOR TWO HOURS.

Broken in 2 weeks
