They can't be plugged into the same outlet :( My last washer and dryer were plugged into the same outlet for 15 yrs with NO problem. This is not acceptable

I was told by the best buy people that they were running behind and I had to reschedule. I am VERY angry and disgusted by this unprofessional behavior.

A bit disappointing

Our fancy Samsung dryer lasted 4yrs and 1 week and just plain died (noisy also with bells and whistles we really did not need).My mistake here for sure. Love this Amana but no buzzer to tell you it's done drying. Heats up in less than 20 seconds, very quiet and gets the job done which is drying clothes. My wife and I are done and WE MEAN DONE WITH SAMSUNG--PERIOD. Highly recommend this Amana ( No frills, bells or whistles ) but who needs music after each cycle like the Samsung anyway. Who wants to pay almost $500.00 for Samsung garbage in repairs. How dumb can anyone be to do this.

I had thought it might be somewhat smaller inside than my old dryer, because the capacity is only 6.5 cu. ft., while many on the website are 7.0 or 7.5. It's quite a bit larger inside than my old dryer, which i had presumed was the size of most dryers. Maybe that was the case 20 years ago. Before you decide against this on the basis of capacity, take a look in the store and you may find it plenty large. Opening the "specifications" drop down menu on the Best Buy page for this gas dryer, it reads, "Power Cord Included - No," but mine did come with a power cord installed. No power cord may well be the case for the electric version.
