However, all I needed was a simple pedometer-like device to measure steps with no need to connect to an app. So I returned the product.

I bought this and there are NO INSTRUCTIONS. the booklet just says 'load Zepp app', and the Zepp app has no info on how the device actually functions. And what the Zepp app does control is VERY confusing, and there is no help site. apparently there was an older app that worked, can i still get that? i might have to return this thing even though it might do what i want—there is no way of knowing!
