    Everything works except making and accepting phone calls which is the main reason I bought it. I brought it in and they were trying to be helpful but there wasn’t much they can do other than replace it. Asked if I can have some money back for it not working properly and they said no. Of course the protection plan doesn’t cover the phone calls not working

      Hi Hayley, below are detailed instructions for setting up Bluetooth calls.

      1. Enable Bluetooth on Both Devices
      Go to Settings on both your watch (Navigate to App list > Settings > Bluetooth) and phone (Navigate to phone > Settings > Bluetooth) to enable Bluetooth. Once Bluetooth is enabled on both devices, use one of them to search for the other and complete the pairing process.
      Make sure to check if you have enabled DND (Do Not Disturb) mode, Battery Saver mode (click the power icon to activate Battery Saver), or Theater mode on your watch. If any of these modes are enabled, the Bluetooth calling function may be affected.

      2. Enable "Bluetooth Calls" or "Call on watch function" in the Zepp App
      Connect the watch to the Zepp app and enable the Bluetooth calls or Call on watch function under Device -> Amazfit Bip 5 -> Device app settings -> Phone. When prompted, click Go to Settings and follow the instructions to turn on Bluetooth calls.


      3. Pair Both BT and BLE Connections
      On your phone's Bluetooth settings, locate and pair both the BT connection (e.g., Amazfit Bip 5-2415) and the BLE connection (e.g., Amazfit Bip 5). Confirm the pairing request on both your watch and phone simultaneously.
      Note: The device with "Watch Name + 4 Numbers" (e.g., Amazfit Bip 5-2415) represents the BT connection. These four digits correspond to the last four digits of the Bluetooth address, which you can find under Watch Settings > System > About.

    So far so good. This watch is ppwerful and fast. It is bot as user friendly as other watches and takes a lot of steps to get to activity tracker. The bpm is an averahe and doesnt show continual rate. The batter has lasted over a week with 1 hr of the gym a day

    Nice watch but terrible water resistance rating. It died after wading in a pool. It never got deeper than my arm (~28 inches.) Sure glad i bought the extended warranty. BB refunded the full purchase toward a slightly more expensive model rated for 5 ATM water resistance.

      Hi DanJS, please note the Bip 5 model is not waterproof. It is only water resistant with a rating of IP68 so you are not able to swim with it or dip the watch in water. Michael | Amazfit Support Amazfit
