Had to do a few repeating steps a few times . Finally the firestick remote paired up. Have patience it will pair up.

Fire stick Remote Control

I needed to replace my original remote control and this one was perfect. I went to YouTube to program the remote and it was easy to do. Also it has more features than the original remote.

Best FireTv remote on the market

After trying 6 different Amazon Fire remotes none worked for the TV. I decided to try this new Pro remote with Alexa built in. It works great!! Alexa button responds quickly to find whatever you want to watch. I especially like the illuminated buttons that make it easier to use in dim lighting. I may buy another and replace my fire stick remote with this one.
