The main reason I bought it was for the 2 customizable buttons. Much to my chagrin, I cannot assign a button to a side-loaded App. It's bad enough that Amazon Fire devices are riddled with ads and other nonsense that leaves me with only enough real estate to place 6 of my favorite apps on the home screen. If that's what I wanted Roku would be a better alternative.

This is one better than the other because the button for this one light up so at night your not struggling to see what you are pressing.

Working great so far (2 weeks in). Had to sync to the TV twice, but other than that it synced right up. I like the backlit buttons that the original did not have. I have not used the Voice function yet.

Would recommend if you misplace your remote and have several Alexa linked products (like light bulbs) that you can customize the buttons to control.
