Great remote upgrade!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the newer remote on my most recent Fire Stick so well that I purchased this remote for my older version. This added the ability of an on/off button, as well as a volume control. It paired up easily, and controls my tv volume, as well as the on/off function. I recommend!

Great replacement for nvidia sheild tv

I was able to purchase this for $15 on sale and it works beautifully with my Nvidia Shield. I especially like that has a power button so I can shut down the shield and put it in sleep mode. The nvidia remote was $50 which is ludicrous.

This does not work with Toshiba Fire TV

In fact, since I'd turned the TV on/off to pair the remote I couldn't get it turned back on. That meant that Alexia and my iphone controls couldn't see the TV which left me without a TV until I figured out I needed to order yet another remote.
