I am pleased with this device. For the price, it's one of the best value tablets you will currently find on the market. With it's nice big bright screen and snappy version of Android (9), I would rate this as a great product. The only con would be the battery. Being a hardware technician I properly calibrated the battery in order to maximize the lifespan. However, I have noticed that sometimes (particularly when it's not being used) the battery will discharge pretty rapidly, and then other times it will discharge normally at a much slower pace which is quite odd. If you're looking for a tablet intended for simple internet browsing and reading books and comics, then this tablet is for you. If you are looking for a tablet for more of a media-intense experience or playing games, you may want to spend some extra cash on an iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab; all due to the battery capacity. Speaking of the battery, this tablet has the 15w fast charging feature via its USB-Type C port and you can upgrade/add storage with a micro SDHC card: just be sure to get one of the more recent cards in terms of speed because you'll need it. This tablet will warn of slower data transmission speeds with the older class 10 cards. Amazon has made a decent upgrade from the previous generation of the Fire. If it wasn't for the strange battery issue, I would have easily rated it 5 stars.

Much longer battery charge, better sound, sharper picture.

Awesome visuals with good quality, high definition images. Larger 10” screen gives better picture for movies & entertainment than 8” or 7” tablet. This Amazon product limits the apps allowed download on kindle. Some apps from competing entertainment services won’t download. Does permit Netflix and some other streaming services but not all.

I am very very impressed with this tablet once you turn it on it loads super fast if superfast pulling up whatever you are looking for this thing works flawless in the battery last me 12 hours being on it all day I am very thankful I chose this tablet as to where it is exactly what I was looking for the Alexa feature works flawlessly and I could not be happier

For the price, great value. Easy to use and works great, have to have an Amazon account to use, but with prime you get movies and books. Good size screen and graphics are great. Has expandable memory slot so can store more, battery life is pretty good as well.

This tablet was $200 dollars less than the IPAD and Samsung tablets. (I got this tablet to replaced an older Samsung that was no longer supported). The tablet screen is large. I use the tablet for games and I am pleased with the tablet’s performance, no lag. Happy with my purchase.

Love the big screen and picture. Easy to set-up and endless apps. Grandson loved this Christmas present, it's never far away from him. Seems like a sturdy unit but decided to get an optional cover for it as a 6 year old can be rough on things. Would recommend this to anyone. Was on sale when purchased and worth every penny.

Quite easy to set up with an Amazon account. Faster than the older Kindle it's replacing, and the alexa app is handy. A cute e-reader and light tablet. You're not likely to edit photos with this, but easily access mail and keep up to date with social media

I really like this tablet a lot! As a years long Apple user, I was reluctant to try a new device, but this tablet is pretty good. I needed the larger size because at 70 years old, reading small screens is no longer possible. I use it mainly for reading my over 400 books and checking my email. Good tablet fairly priced

I only purchased this to read ebooks. I never though how great the actual tablet was for other things. Picture quality is awesome! Because Alexa is integrated it adds yet another Alexa device to my household. Same features as my Echo plus a lot more. Sound is not bad for a tablet. Loving this Tablet. Highly Recommended

This was definitely a solid purchase. Lightweight yet a good sized screen. This tablet is perfect for streaming videos, listening to music, and daily scrolling on social media. This is actually the second one we’ve purchased, they hold up pretty well. We got several years of usage out of the first one. This is definitely a good buy!

Tablet is economical and fits low budget asks. I picked it up during the black Friday sale. It has decent speed and works for basic browsing requirements. Since it runs fire os - you have to sideload playstore to get access to all Android apps (some apps still don't work). Otherwise it is a decent bargain for regular streaming requirements. Didnt find Hotspot capability or cast to tv capability.

I have a friend in a nursing home who is essentially cut off from everyone during this Coronovirus scare/pandemic. His unit died and we replaced it with the Amazon-Fire HD 10 2019 release 10.1"- Tablet- 32 GB. He has been very happy with it. It has been his lifeline to friends and family. The ZOOM app has allowed him to participate in worship services when his condition had cut him off from us for 5 months. He was in tears to see us for the first time in so long.

So I honestly just wanted something to be able to download books and read where ever and maybe be able to watch something from Netflix. What I got was so much more, literally hundreds of apps, some of them are incredibly useful. I'm never bored anywhere anymore and that was the goal, I just didn't think I'd be this entertained.

Tablet is very nice. Screen size is just right. Can use many apps and tablets runs smooth and fast. Tablet is great for video chatting also. This tablet serves many purposes and I will be buying another one because I am impressed with it.

Awesome tablet for the price. The picture quality is great. Fire tablets do not come with google or the playstore, but if you're savy at all you'll be able to get them on there. Once you have playstore you can download pretty much everything. Otherwise amazon apps limit you quite a bit.

So we purchased this tablet because we could no longer get books from the library. Well it turns out we enjoy using for lots of things. Games email social media and yes reading a book. For the price I feel it was a good investment. Size and weight are a plus. Only a couple of weeks so far but I'm liking it very much.
