You can put in your kids profile so it restricts it to their age and as long as you invest in a solid screen protector and a protective case, you've got a pretty solid tablet. My kids (both under 5) have not broken past the protective screen.

The best buy repair people didn't know that the plan had been switched. I was able to resolve the problem pretty quickly. As for the product, it is working great. Thanks.
