A little too big of a tablet for easy travel but great for movies.

More than what I needed am a senior just want to play games

It's basic Amazon device. Nothing special about the device.

Purchased this Amazon Fire tablet in white for my wife on 11/08/2019 because her old 7 inch Amazon Fire tablet is getting old and the battery is showing its age. Set up of the 10.1 inch tablet was quick and easy only taking a few minutes. The screen looks very good and is bright, my wife reads books on her tablets and she really likes the quality of the screen on this tablet. I did add a 128 GB micro SD card to go with the 32 GB of internal storage. Her old 7 inch tablet was almost out of storage and she had had it for several years. The interface works well and it has not shown any laggy performance. I just can’t justify spending $949.99 for an Apple iPad when this Amazon Fire 10.1 inch tablet is such good deal and does everything my wife’s needs it to. I do recommend purchasing a glass screen protector and the Amazon branded case as it fits like a glove keeping the tablet nice and thin. The weight is also nice and light. Best Buy purchase of this tablet was quick and easy in the Ft. Myer’s store.

Slow, and filled with “bloatware”. If your a fan of advertisements every time you have to unlock your device then you will love this tablet. Sites that use heavy video flash macromedia will push this tablet to its limits while your waiting for the end result of what your clicked on.

I did not use the Fire HD10. How I do still have previous generations.

I purchased this for work. But the only app I needed to download wasn't compatible. (Square app) This is a Amazon tablet. So you better use amazon for everything. Had to return it next day after it arrived at my home.

It's an ok tablet.Not as fast and doing what I wanted.

Buy an ONN instead. This tablet is impossible to set up for any kid between age 4 and 18. either it stupid youtube videos for very small children, or it's creating a whole amazon account for a 10 year old complete with credit card. Save yourself the time and hassle and just buy literally anything else. The amazon software is the problem. This device is literally locked o an amazon acount. So, if you want your 10 year old o be able to use it for normal tablet things, you have to let them log into your amaon account, which gives them complete access to your credit cards and ordering information. It is literally the worst tablet on the market. We bought two, I hate them and would return them if I could.

I got this for my mother who is in a nursing home. Alexa voice commands are great. But there is no apps for TeamViewer and Security to prevent anyone from hacking it. I cannot risk this sitting in a public place even with a PIN code assigned.

I ordered this in plum color for a Christmas gift and it came in black. Didn’t know the person I was buying it for had to have an amazon account. When they went to return it they had a hard time because the color wasn’t the plum color I ordered.

I loved this tablet for the simple things I used it for (gaming and watching streaming content). But I no longer support buying it. I bought it 2 years ago and one day it froze up as I was connecting the charger and died. It never turned back on again. I decided to buy a Samsung tablet which was perfect for what I needed and also allowed me to download certain apps that the amazon fire tablet would not. FYI you are only allowed to download a limited amount of applications with this kind of tablet!!

This is certainly not the most easy to use tablet. Has many quirks and you begin to miss a true Android experience. Also the construction leaves something to be desired. The quality is not really great.

If you don't mind haveing a bunch of useless crap staring you in the face and don't use any google stuff, then it will be ok. I hated it and returned it. Use google play and would not download.

Videos won YouTube playing for about 3 seconds before arrow comes on to restart. Have to shut down device and restart before it "MIGHT" work right. Same with radio stations which reached by ÀLEXA..

I don’t really like. I use my kindle everyday and I let it read to me while I’m working. It won’t stay running it just shuts off. I’ve never had this problem with any other kindles I’ve purchased.

Plan to pay $15 to have the special offers/Offers and Ads removed that come on every time you unlock the tablet. NOWHERE on this site could I find anything that tells you that until you start getting them popping up.

I have many nook books on my plain jane tablet which is getting old. The Fire 10HD tablet was on sale. I specifically asked the Best Buy guy whether I could read my nook books on the Fire & he said yes, then looked up something on his phone & said yes. I remember years ago you could not. I got it home, messed with it several hours for 3 days, took it to 3 places, & no one could help. The instructions on the internet to "side load" apps does not work on this one. Wasted money & so much time. Very frustrating.
