Not what i thought. Thought it would be a little bigger

I've been waiting for this! recieved it on the same day it was released! (10-30-19) It arrived in perfect condition and easy to set up! If you're already used to the way smartphones function, this will be a piece of cake! I've been playing with it since I opened the box and have discovered the sound quality, image quality and video playback to be superior to any other tablet I've used. Im pleased with the storage capacity and battery life as well. Downloading apps are easy too, through Amazon Appstore. Ive already been to all of my social media sites with it. It' s wonderful and powerful, in every way! This will be the tablet I use, exclusively, from now on with future upgrades. I'm an avid reader and I love the way Kindle books view on the Fire, which is the main reason I bought it!

I wish I would have understood, but I'm not so tech savy. The picture is good quality, the battery life is good for streaming. HOWEVER, I really didn't understand how badly Amazon controls everything you do. 1) the ads. It's despicable that you would have to pay to disable them. This tablet is nothing but one big advertisement. 2)I love Google. I HATE BING. But here I am, Bing searching Google to avoid Bing. I would love to have my email, hangouts, meet, etc, but Jeff Bezos would be ice skating in hell before that happened. 3) I am a Direct tv subscriber, but apparently Bezos hates AT&T more than I do (which is saying a lot), and the Fire 10 doesn't allow that. I wish I would have spent more and purchased a different tablet, had I known the only thing it's good for is buying stuff off Amazon and streaming stuff I can get on my firestick.

I wanted a tablet for a while, particularly to eliminate the need to carry my class books around. So I got this one since it was pretty inexpensive. So far I love using it, which I didn’t expect to when I first bought it. The battery life is really good and the software is smooth. It does come with a lot of bloatware so I installed google apps and playstore, which was simple to install with the help of videos on youtube. I did notice some screen bleed on one side, which is not too visible unless screen brightness is high or when watching dark lit scenes in a movie. It’s not something I really notice after a while. Aside from that, there are ads on the lockscreen, which amazon states helped lower the price of the device. I went ahead and paid an extra 15 to remove it. Overall, its fun to use and highly recommend it to a friend

When I first got it I did not automatically use it. It was charged but the battery had went down only 5 percent. Plus the display is in a 720 resolution so that's great.

i love this and i love how you can side load android apps like the play store and more and a great camera this is the best fire tablet ever made for the money

Sometimes will not turn on. On button will not engage. The picture does not spin from up-down to side. Otherwise it preforms GREAT!!!

Got this as a gift. Set it up. Credit card required for all downloads, even free ones. One-click ordering required. I don't want a credit card and one-click linked to my tablet. Too many risks. I'm sure accidentally one-click ordering something or having that info easily accessible to hackers is a benefit to Amazon's bottom-line. The last straw was the constant stream of ads, particularly on the lock-screen. Went looking for how to turn that off. You can for a mere $15 fee. So, in reality, this isn't your device. It is owned and operated by Amazon. Don't be fooled. This is not a tablet. Or, rather, it can be if you root it and remove all of the Amazon bloatware. But, then, why not just buy a real tablet to begin with?

Horrible service. I stood by the computers that I wanted to ask a couple simple questions about (with another woman who gave up.) The sales person told me twice she would wait on us but then proceeded to have long conversations with everyone who arrived at her desk after me. After moving from the computers to stand in her line - I waited 20 minutes more and finally gave up too.
