    Easy to set up. Great price point. Camera is good quality, However, After using it a couple of days have found out that the camera has lost connectivity with the app and can't reset it without rebooting the camera by unplugging it from the power cable. Very annoying.

    Not happy that you cannot use the night vision on these when you have them in a window to watch the outside. The light glows off the window and you can’t see anything then.

    Camera build quality was nice. Felt sturdy. Features were not robust, wasn't easy to use. For the money, I think there are better options.

    Never worked right. Would make my phone go off every time I walked into the room it was located in.. So imagine an afternoon of cleaning my apt, resulted in about 90 new notifications.

    I bought this cam thinking it would be a quality unit given the Amazon brand. That was a mistake. After several hours over two days, I was unable to log on to the Amazon Cloud cam app, which is the essential first step to setting up the unit. Had I read the reviews in the Google Play store for the app, I would never have bought this cam. The app itself was unusable and is the essential first step to get the cam operational. I never got that far. I wanted to use this with my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone but the Android version of the app simply would not work. I kept getting Amazon cloud error messages saying “Cloud failure error message 1, try again later”. After repeated attempts, I got slightly further but was never, despite probably two dozen attempts, able to log on. I then tried my IOS device, but same story, it constantly returned an error message when I started the app, “cloud error, try again later”. The camera may be super but I will never know, as I could not get it connected and registered. This one is being returned today. If the Amazon cloud is this difficult and unreliable, this cannot function as a satisfactory security camera. I couldn’t even get it to function as a live feed cam. I have two D-link tilt/pan older cams that work fine so I have the necessary experience with cams and the set up process, connectivity, etc. This is not the case of user error. My suggestion is to read all the Amazon Cloud Cam reviews in Google Play as well as the camera reviews themselves. I would absolutely not recommend this cam to anyone.

    quality is bleh.. this cam sucks. their suport sucks. it keeps locking up and i have to constantly restart it.

    Purchased this camera over a month ago. Worked fine in the beginning. Then I accidentally unplugged it and it took me 45 mins to sync it back up. It wouldn’t go into pairing mode. Finally it did and wouldn’t sync to my phone. Then one day I came home and it asked me to begin setup all over again. It keeps going back to setup mode after I’ve set it up 3 times now. Something is wrong with the camera. I contacted support since Best Buy doesn’t allow returns after 30 days. And Amazon support has not contacted me after leaving a message. It’s been 10 days now and I have yet to hear back. Get yourself a nest and save the hassle!!!

    If you care about seeing anything other than real time camera feed, do not buy this. It is supposed to have motion activated recording for 24 hours. I bought it to watch my pets. I get clips that are 10-15 seconds, most often just of the pet entering or leaving the room. It skips everything in between. I am so mad I wasted my money on this crappy product. Too late to return with Best Buy’s terrible 15 day return policy. Should have stayed with Nest purchased from another retailer.
