Got this for my wife. She is disabled and being able to turn on devices by voice makes life easier for her. I also purchased a Dot so she can call me without sending a text across the house.

We really like quality of sound. All you have to do is ask.Echo is also an expertly tuned speaker that can fill any room with immersive sound. Definitely recommend for family

My wife loves this. She is a music listener and really enjoys being able to tell Alexa what she wants to list to and will play exactly what was asked. Voice recognition works very good also.

Really pleased with this Echo. It has very good sound quality when playing music, and it is a great help in the kitchen as a timer when baking.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for the wife and she loved it. Well we all love it. Alexa does it all! Don't know what I'll do without Alexa now. Lol.

This device is great if you connect smart devices to it. We ask it to turn on/off all the lights. And it answers our questions and plays music for the pets when we are away. Great device!

Many fun and interesting skills to play with. Wife and I have lots of fun playing the various games ( song quiz, true or false, etc). Also convenient for getting the weather or other information. Have had a few problems with not recognizing correct answers to some of the questions in the games. But overall we like this device

We have several Alexa devices, with most of them being Dots. The speaker quality of the Echo is of course far superior to the Dot, but really pretty good for a standalone speaker.

I bought this system on a great sale for my kids for Christmas. They love it and we have enjoyed watching them set it up. Ugh unfortunately it's not on sale anymore and we want our own system!

I absolutely love my echo. It makes it a lot easier to be lazy, can just ask it questions and to do stuff for you instead of having to pick up a device to do it yourself.

I'm not really impressed. I thought this would be great but it's just a hassle that repeatedly needs trouble shooting to accurately recognize voice commands. Couple that with the rather dismal selection of "skills" currently available through the Alexa app and I regret buying this. It's nice for when it does work, but all too often it doesn't and it's way less intuitive say, than even Microsofts Kinect.

This is a nice step up from the regular Echo Dot. Better sound quality with a little bass. Works great with the rest of my smart home devices.

I have been a pro musician for almost 50 years and I love listening to Alexa's music. It's nice to have someone playing the music for me instead of me entertaining them. It is wonderful to listen to the different renditions of style, orchestration, on the same song--it is a great teaching tool for even a seasoned pianist/organist. It helps me clean the house--I just put on a peppy upbeat song and the housework becomes must more enjoyable. I do like the model Echo (2nd gen) because of the larger speaker. Haven't regretted one cent I spent on it. Great service by the people who work there also. Thanks Best Buy!

I got it when I bought the fridge. I been using it everyday. Great for the price but it would be much better if it has built in battery. Has to plug into the wall to use.

I needed Alexa for a smaller room. This Amazon echo is perfect for my bedroom. Now my smart home is complete. Sound quality, feed back, and range is perfect for a smaller room size.

Besides one Echo Show, we've had dots and spots up to this point. This is our first Echo tower. The sound is deep and full. Tje microphones are sensitive and responsive.

Echo sounds great and Alexa is amusing in that , I also have a previous generation echo model and when I ask Alexa the same question I.e. what’s the weather in St Johns Fl she doesn’t answer and on the previous generation echo I get the weather for St Johns Fl........otherwise I would have given it 5 stars

Bought this for my Mom. She had my son set it up and uses it every day. It works perfectly. She is able to ask Alexa questions that she would normally call me for. She loves it!
