I own one of these and love the crisp clear sound! I had to buy one for everyone in my family this Christmas. It can give advise, play Pandora, read the bible, just ask, "Alexa, Bible App!" There's so much it can do, it's a must have!

Does what it says. Keeps lists, plays music, answers questions. Really like it.

I use it for listening to music and answering questions. I am not a wiz with tech gadgets so syncing all the app are foreign to me but I am learning. Nice sound just a little to much bass for me. Hears me from most parts of my house.

I'm very satisfied with this item. I went into Amazon Help to set-up and they were very helpful and we got it set-up. I was very impressed with the Sound of music and how quick Alexa finds what you ask for. So far Great Purchase.

I have an original Echo as well as a couple of the Echo Dots. This new version does sound noticeably better than the original, but has the same functionality as the others. I miss the top volume adjustment ring, but only a little.

The sound on this Echo is amazing! I loved it so much I bought another one. One for my bedroom and one for the kitchen. Alexa always hears me and plays my Spotify and controls my lights with ease! Definitely worth the sale price!

Was skeptical at first but i love it. Takes a while to get used to telling it to do something you’re used to doing yourself . It has actually made me expand my smart home with hue lights and ecobee and all work well together

I liked how this device became useful and helpful. At first a bit skeptical if the Echo would provide value over simple entertainment and novelty. After a couple days I am happy to report that is has become a useful tool. l

This is a really amazing gadget. I would never believed I’d be talking to a robot if you had asked me 20 years ago. Alexa is very responsive and humorous at times. Very pleased with the microphone sensitivity and the overall sound quality. I’ve only had the Echo for a few days but am already using things like reminders, timer, and home automation. Fairly easy to connect WiFi devices like smart plugs and switches. I like this so much, I’m getting the Echo Dot to pair with.

Works about how we expected. Looking to have some control over lights and smart items, as well as music, news, etc. There is a learning curve with the app and how and what to ask when talking to her. It's actually kind of scary how well she knows her name and hears it. Speaker sound is decent, but certainly not for listening at full volume. Overall pleased with purchase.

Day one was total fun for my family. Even my 2 year old can pick out his music by talking to her. That can also be a problem I guess, but again, he’s. After purchasing smart outlets and smart lightbulbs, the convenience skyrocketed. With 3 kids, our hands and laps are always full. Verbally commanding lights on and off is both convenient and awesomely StarTrek like.

i don't really have a smart home .living in a nyc apartment so i know im not fully optimizing this product but it works great as speaker, making reminders, getting information, news, and weather. etc.. also Alexa (the speakers "AI" like siri) can hear within the same room great but not when in another room.. unless you scream ..speak loudly.. scream is an overstatement

Incredible how Alexander has become a part of the family. Checking the weather, playing music, trivia games, ordering items from Amazon or adding items on my To Do and Shopping Lists, she is always just a question away.

Bought our Amazon Alexa on Black Friday. Best Buy had a deal for a plug for $5 with the Alexa purchase. That was a good incentive to purchase it from them.Alexa is very useful! Easy set up. Definitely would recommend!

I absolutely love my Echo. I have it connected in my living room to control lighting, and use it primarily for playing music. It's nice to be able to speak commands on days my hands are full when walking into my home.

This is my first echo and I'm happy with it. My mother has the original and my little boys love it. They ask for their favorite song and boom it plays. Can't wait to play with it some more to see what else it can do.

New generation has better sound. Works well with the 1st gen. Easy to configure control of compatible devices.

Louder and more bass than the dot, this was necessary to compete with the echo sub that I purchased. If you try to run the sub with a dot, the bass drowns out the lyrics. So this was a must. I run it with my edifier surround sound speakers as well, and does great as the leader of the everywhere grouping, including a first gen echo, a dot, the edifier surround, a echo sub and echo show. Upset that it went on sale a week or so after my purchase, but that's life.

The Echo is easy and fun to use. I like that I can listen to my iHeart radio stations all through the house while I’m getting ready for work in the morning. Also like the automation it provides for my Hue lighting.

We are big fans of the echo. I bought this latest one as a gift for my mom (who's not a tech type) and she loves it. I set up a few features for her and she has been able to handle the rest. The echo really does a great job picking up voice sounds. No need to scream at it. I also love the new size and exterior options of the new model. Might need to add another to our house. Buy with confidence!
