The Echo is really useful for playing quality sounding music anytime I want. Don't use too many of the other features yet.

I got Alexa as a gift last year and I love it, so I bought another one for my ex and kids. We have been having fun with the kids games Alexa has, purchased smart plug which allows Alexa to control my living room light as well as purchased a smart bulb for the kitchen and it works great

Echo setup was fairly easy. It processes about 97/98% of the tasks that I ask. However, I am very pleased with the product.

Sound is great. The only thing is that it looses connection and has to be reset

I love this thing. So cool to automate and connect everything in the house. The speaker is good but not excellent.

Well I have the Google Home already. I got the Echo for my kitchen. When I would ask the Echo certain questions it could not find me an answer. I would then have to go and ask the Google Home the same question and I would always get an answer. My husband asked both devices a question at the same time and the Google Home was first with the answer. So I returned the Echo and bought another Google Home.

Love being able to automate the house and all with simple voice commands. Asking for music and getting is nice.

This Amazon echo is a nice model. Sound quality is very good but lacks the range of the older, full size model.

This device is of great assistance from controlling smart bulbs to making shopping lists. Very easy to use.

I like using my Alexa to listen to music. I am sure the other features are great. Sound quality is pretty good.

The right out of the box experience is not nearly as flawless as Google Home - We ask Google Home all sorts of questions about people we see on TV, history class questions, etc... and Google Home gets about 90% of them and Amazon less than 50% unless you set up additional steps on your phone with the App. Both can have accounts attached and play music from a variety of sources.

I was never really curious about smart devices, I only purchased the device because it was part of a bundle deal. Since then I have fallen in love with it. It’s extremely practical, helpful, and now controls part of my home. This Christmas I gifted a couple to friends and family and all loved it.

Love this item. I say what i need and it plays what i request. The volume is great and projected well.

Even though I know this thing will send all my searches to the NSA and whatever 3rd parties Amazon sells to. Once I got over that because I am sure plenty of stuff I use does this. It is convenient to be able to use this to find out what I need and set alarms and control devices.

I was skeptical about buying this because of the microphone and security issues, but I like the fact that it has a mute button so I don't have to hear/speak to it when I don't want to. Tons of features and still learning more!

Nice device, works well, easy to set up. Would like a video on how to use the device and the limitations.

i bought this thing for a gift for myself and i like it a lot wish it was a little louder but it will work.

We've had the Echo for over a month and really enjoy it. It's great for playing music and answering basic questions.

Was a little unsure if I would use the Echo when I received it as a gift. But now I wouldn’t want to be without it! Love keeping my grocery list on it and have found so many other helpful tasks for Alexa. And music is just a request away! Very happy with our new companion.

moved echo dot into bedroom. use this in the main living area. nicer, louder speaker. satisfied.
