This is the 2nd unit we have purchased. We have the gen 1 unit and this one works better than the first. Great newer look as well.

This thing is great. When linked with our Echo Dots, we basically have an intercom system in our home. The sound on this thing is great too!

My wife loves this, bought her an Echo Dot also. She forgets to say 'Alexa' at the beginning, but is slowly learning. I use it a lot also.

Gave this as a Christmas gift. They could not have been happier and pleased with Alexa.they are an older couple and having way too much fun!

Amazon needs to up its game by providing better speakers for its echo devices. Anybody listening, anybody, Jeff?

Great for the kitchen but speaker is lacking, great help in the kitchen or connect her to a better sound system and your all set

Alexa is great. Ask her the weather, Ask her how far away is the beach, she answers all the questions...within reason of course.

I initially put this in the bedroom. I now have it in my office. I can listen to my sirius xm on it while I am working!

Alexa is great and the little speaker can get loud if you need it to. Pairs in seconds and I have an assistant and music player all in one.

If you live by yourself, then there's no need for a dog. Interacting with this product is like having a smart friend with you at all times.

It connects with pandora, Amazon music and so on. Some are free connection and are useful. Further, it can connect to Uber and other food delivery apps, home automatic devices etc. It has limited use if you are not advanced technologically.

Shorter than gen 1 with a somewhat bugger foot print gives it a better look. The speaker seems to have a little better sound quality.

I got my Alexa to take to work to listen to music. As it uses wi-fi, the reception is awesome. Wouldn't be without it!

Alexa is the best source of knowledge, music, and entertainment on the market. She can be your personal assistant. I love ALEXA!

I use it in my living room and have connected lighting devices to it. I am planning to get more with better sound quality.

This is one of my favorite devices and the fact that you can add on and create an intercom system with the echo dot is awesome!

I use this daily for flash briefings and control of my home. Just make sure you speak clearly and that you use correct grammar.

My parents live overseas, so i was a bit skeptical anout getting them this as a gift, but it works perfectly and they love it!
