Works great for only a FEW months

(Amazon would not replace the original one although under manufacturer warranty. ) Low and behold, just over 6 months, this newer version is doing the same thing. [Insert mad face here] Amazon claims it's a bad ac adapter (sounds like Apple), or that the unit needs to be reset, which we do resets and becomes a hassle to reprogram once a month. Will be looking into a different brand device compatible with our Phillips Hue lights, TVs and other electronic devices.
