Very easy to use and set up very handy for turning on lights in a dark room just with your voice are asking it random questions also the free calling and nice

I love my Echo! I’m an Apple fanboy, so I looked at the HomePod, but it was just too expensive. The Echo does so much, is easy to set up and use, and has great sound.

I have this along with a couple echo dots. For listening to music this is much better than the far cheaper dot. For everyday use a dot may honestly be enough for most users. Alexa works the majority of the time, it only picks up false commands upon occasion. Try a dot first to see if this is for you.

I have several Echo Dots but this is my first larger Echo speaker. Sound quality is excellent (much better than the dot) for the size and the color is very stylish.

Great value on sale, nice sound, really pick up voice from all angles, changeable body cover, easy connection to system, looking to purchase another one.

I recently bough the Amazon Echo and it is a much more user friendly home assistant with better sound quality. I am able to make inquiries further away with Alexa responding correctly to my request / questions. I also have the Google Home and the Amazon Echo is a much better product.

Finally bought an Echo on a whim on Black Friday. Setup was very quick and easy. I've set it up so that it will tell me weather and news headlines every morning, play soft music before I go to bed, and control various "smart" devices around the house. Why didn't I get it earlier...

Had google home....which was fine....however alexa just adapts to everything quicker....easier to tech new skills and pics voice up better....very satisfied!

Amazon Echo is an awesome gift. Love mine. Everyone should have one as it is so user friendly and you can do so much with it from checking scores, checking when games start, who's playing who, to news, to music, to checking weather all around the usa, to telling you a joke.

Really like this speaker. It has a good full sound and perfect for any of Alexa skills. This is the best of all Echo speakers. If you have a bigger room this is for you

The second generation is better than the first. It is smaller so very easy to hide out of sight. The volume goes up even more than the first generation. Great purchase

We really lime using this to play music and turn lights on and off. We also connected our roomba to it. So you just say Alexa start the vacuum and boom....clean floors.

Speaker is better than I thought. Mainly used for playing music and quick questions when in the kitchen.

I like the Amazon Echos very much. Great sound, helpful with shopping. But a pain on some setup issues.

I wanted something small to place in my living room. I was surprised at the level of sound it kicks out. Will be upgrading my dots in bedrooms with echos soon.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter, who lives in another city. She recently admitted that when she opened it, she thought here's something I'll never use! Now she raves about it. In the morning she gets a news and weather update while she prepares for work (her generation isn't much for radios). She listens to Apple Music at night. Alexa also tells jokes, plays games, and tells stories, and answers general info questions. Makes a great gift.

I knew I was going to buy one when I played with my 86 year old aunt's and realized how fun and easy it was. Also - so much info and music. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that more explanation needs to be given about how music and info are received. I planned on getting Amazon Prime anyway, but you really need an outside music source. Also. if i knew the Sonos speakers were available I might have purchased those instead.

really enjoy listening to music from the device , easy to use and asked any questions . wife likes to take it out on the deck to listen to music

I've had many Amazon echo dot products but this one has surpassed them all. Great sound quality and easy to use with very simple voices commands.
