Solid Alexa implementation and decent sound. Some issues with third party skills like ihome.

I had the original 1st gen echo and this one is certainly sleeker, sounds better than my other one but over all you get the same functions.

Easy to set up. Alexa is pretty knowledgeable and quite entertaining. Only negative is I wish there was a way to have Alexa’s speaking volume be louder than the music she plays. I usually play My Music as background music. Otherwise, the Echo works great.

Making the echo smaller, better looking and More affordable is a huge way to make the Amazon Echo a much better device and value than it already had.

This is a step-up product for Echo Dot! With add-on speaker and no need extra wire/cable to external speaker ! Nice color, design. They have multi-color to match with your interior room color. If you used to with Amazon devices & prime, this one is good ones to have.

Set up is very easy! Sound is Great! Much better sound then I was expecting. Added a couple echo dots and now I have music in every room!

I have at least 6 of the small Amazon Echo’s and this larger one has much better sound/fidelity. And can go louder so one can hear better.

Great home assistant, works well, need to look for other compatible hardware to connect.

These are hard to review because so much of what separates this from a dot, is audio performance. If you just want to use your voice to control devices, get a dot. If you want affordable multiroom audio or voice control, get a dot. If you have speakers you want to connect via aux cord or bluetooth then get a dot. Or if you want a cheap intercom system, get a dot. But if you dont have other speakers, or if you have extra money, then get this echo to upgrade your musical proformance. They dont sound like bose or other high end portable speakers, but they dont cost as much either. I love these echos cause i have one for bedroom and other in kitchen where we want better sound proformance but dont need a stereo system. I have a dot in laundry room, a dot in living room paired to my stereo, and dot in living room paired to a bose. Gives us whole house audio.

We love our echo! The primary things we use Alexa for are to set our temp (via Nest thermostat), playing music, and setting timers for cooking. (You can name them and have multiple, so she will say "your potato timer is finished") Sometimes we will ask her about the weather or a game score, or play games, send messages to friends with Alexa's. We are giving these as Christmas gifts to all of "our people"
