Bought this mainly to have easy portable music from Serius. It delivers reasonably good sound and easy to use everywhere Wi-Fi reaches.

As an original ECHO owner as well as several Dots and a Show, this was a nice addition to the family! I find the look with the cloth like exterior to be much better suited to decor than the old black tower. The sound to me is slightly better on this unit than the original ECHO and the price of course is almost half (I got this on sale) than what I paid for the original. I would definitely reccomend this if you are looking into a complete ECHO that needs no external speaker. It sounds excellent, setup was a breeze, and it has been performing well.

A little shorter than the first generation Echo - and maybe a tad bit slower, but the cost is less and the fabric skin is attractive. Overall, it's still a great device. I use it everyday to control home automation like lights, thermostat, etc.

Great for Prime members. Easy set up AND you can put it on do not disturb overnight :)

It wakes me in the morning to my favorite music and plays relaxing music at bedtime and handles a lot of things for me during the day!

The Amazon Echo is an awesome product. The only negative I can think of is that I am spending more money to automate my home through the Amazon Echo - but that's a good thing. Easily understands voice commands, plays music with GREAT sound, and everything is controlled by voice. I can skip to the next song/playlist, and even adjust volume using just my voice. I get news headlines, sports, weather, and even traffic updates before I leave every morning. There are so many skills that I'm still trying to figure out all that this does. It's amazing!

I love everything it can do, adds Convenience. Gives answers to my questions! plays music. Turns on lights. Among other things!

The Amazon Echo has such great sound quality and so many 'skills' you can enable to personalize your experience. Highly recommended.

I have been thinking about getting an amazon echo for some time. Finally but the bullet, and now in very short order everyone in our house wanted one and I have bought 2 more as gifts and a couple of echo dots for other parts of the house!

Got this speaker on sale to use when we are sitting outside in a covered area. Was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality and volume it could produce. Looking at getting additional ones for other areas when they go on sale again.

I recently bought my first Alexa, and I'm so glad I went with this heather gray one. It stands out and is very different compared to the black one. It is clean, modern, and the responsiveness is fantastic! The audio that comes from it is also really impressive considering how small it is. It's output of bass is very shocking - I actually cannot play it at full blast because I'm afraid my neighbors would complain. I also use it to control my smart lighting system. Definitely don't regret this purchase.

I've had the Google Home and Mini and I much more prefer the Amazon products. I find they respond/reply better and they're easier to use. The mobile app is also easier to navigate than the Google Home and Assistant apps. Good sound quality too.
