Enjoying all the things it does. Need to have somewhat linking knowledge

I have been an Echo owner since the first Generation Echo’s were released. I use them mainly for Home Automation purposes so I don’t even know the full capabilities of what this unit will do! One thing I can tell you is don’t let the size of this unit scare you if you enjoy listening to music while working inside your house, this packs a serious punch. Very impressive. I love the functionality of being able to turn lights or groups of lights off with my voice.

The speaker in this is outstanding! It gets plenty loud enough to play through half the house. I'm very pleased!

Amazon's Alexa is a great smart speaker / assistant and fits in well in my smart home. From controlling the nest thermostat to turning down the Philips Hue lights having Alexa around does make executing some manual tasks easier around the house. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because it is missing a crucial feature: Broadcast messaging. The Google home speaker can send out a broadcast message to any other Google home speaker in your home while Amazon's Alexa cannot. Yes, Alexa can "drop in" to any other Alexa device and act as an 2-way intercom but you have to connect to each device individually. Having the ability to broadcast a message like "Dinner is ready!" to all devices in the home is priceless and unfortunately Alexa does not have this ability (yet). Overall, it's still a great addition to your smart home.

Really nice smart speaker that plays all my favorite songs. It is able to provide answers to many simple questions.

We really like this Echo. Sound is great when playing music. So many skills to assign her. The new covers are very stylish.

I chose this over the full size echo because it has great sound. And looks much nicer on my counter with the designer fabric.

Like the Echo now I am able to control my home theater with it. Only problem is not with the Echo but with the time it took to receive after ordering online.. well over a week. Should have just gone to the store.

The amazon Echo is a great appliance useful for everyday activities.

compared with the dot this gives a much better sound. It is a lot easier to use than hooking up a bluetooth speaker to dot

Our 13 year old thinks this is best thing since ice cream. Easy to setup and great sound.

We have other Alexa products. I liked the Smart Speaker better sound and it was very easy to set up.
