I actually gave this as a gift because I love mine so much. Even though the smaller Echo Dot does exactly the same things as the Echo, the Echo has the better speakers and my gift recipient just loves it. He transferred his Sirius radio account (which is only in his car) to include this Echo and he said the speakers are so much better, so he is thrilled. Also loves the weekly email tips on using it. He is really throwing himself into it.

So easy to use. In addition it sounds great. I enjoyed my first one so much that I had to buy another.

Connecting it to the system was easy, love the way I can use it for so many systems, including my lighting system (HUE).

I love the 2nd gen echo. The audio sound better than the 1st Gen.

The Echo is pretty cool to have in you living room it you have smart devices located in there and the chicken. It is easy to use and set up. The only thing I have a problem with is that it starts listening for a command even though I did not say Alexa. I am having the same problem with my Alexa dot. Dont know if this a user error or a technical one. over all I like it and it a convenience to have around the house.

Works great but the sound level does not get as high as i hoped.

We have eight of these in our house. We mainly use it for playing Spotify. It's nice to have one in each room so when we move from room-to-room we can hear the music at a reasonable level. We used to have a stereo that would need to be turned way up to hear across the house but then would be too loud to be near it. We use it for some smart home stuff and ask it questions as well. Works fine for that but we mainly use them for music.

Easy to install, great sound from a little tube, play songs, radio stations, get any info instantly.

I have had a red version for a year or so and have been very happy with it. Great to get a 2nd one and it looks great in black. I like I can link them together for 2 speakers in one room or use in separate rooms and broadcast messages across them. Great for playing music or getting Alexa to answer questions or just for some silly fun sometimes. Have used it with a smart plug for turning off Xmas tree light easy. I like the product and would recommend.

I was not enjoying experience with Siri and Cortana but Alexa is good at voice interpretation that too from far in the living room. I love to play music from Pandora on it though it does not play everything available on Pandora. May be its search is not that good to pick up few songs u request. Volume and clarity of sound is good I liked calling function so it gives me freedom to call while doing some stuff at home. I look forward connecting it to other devices.

This thing is amazing, need a timer for something your cooking, and it’s got it, play some music while you wait or prepare something, it’s got it. Need to ask it a question, surprisingly knows most answers. However, we did have a few problems with it. Mainly, my kids keep using it and “dropping in” to rooms and playing songs in each other’s rooms just to annoy each other. But they eventlually got over this and now it just functions as it is supposed to and is extreemly helpful.

Great sound out of a small speaker. Easy setup and use. Wake up every morning as alarm with current weather.

Music is very clear and the software is very user friendly. Bought for my grandparents and they love it.

This Echo is in our bathroom. It has no camera. works well receiving AM / FM stations and Amazon oldies over the internet. Also used to stream TV audio. Has worked fairly well. Unit was returned and replaced by Amazon during the initial warrantee period because the sound would cut off. Don't know if it was because of the humidity in the bathroom. Sound is relatively good, sufficient for the bathroom.

I'm a early adopter on most tech. Been holding out on Alexa and the Google alternative. I bought Alexa Echo the other day mostly to try it out and I figured id take it back. NOPE 0 I love it, TRY IT!~
