I love the Echo. Very easy to setup. Speaker sounds really good. I am having a blast with it.

Great sound quality that fills the room with music and easy to use.

We purchased an Amazon Echo and have truly enjoyed this product. It is WiFi friendly, fun to use, and we are still learning its skills. Good speaker, and it even tell jokes. We have programmed in a wireless plug to set a lamp to turn on/off when we are not at home. We also programmed the Echo to play music or talk radio when we are not home at various times. Alexa is fun to talk with, much better that Apples Siri.

Excellent speaker. This product is exactly what I was looking for and is so easy to operate.

We have a few Dots, and a full sized Echo for reference. The sound quality is a huge step up from the Dot (which is to be expected), but not so dialed down that it's a big step down from the full sized Echo. The fabric touch is a nice addition, and the microphones are able to pick up our voices without having to raise it. As more and more features are being added, it's become more of a staple for use in our home.

She was able to set it up easy and she loves listening to Christmas music. So she asked, “Alexa, play some Christmas music.” And wahla! It worked. Glad she liked her gift.

If you are coming from the original full size unit this one won’t impress. The sound has has gotten worse but the microphones ability to pick out voices from other sounds has improved. It does sound much better than the hockey puck version.

I am not New the the Echo line. I had the 1st release of the Echo. Out of the box, this unit has shown that it has all of the improvements the 2nd release would have. I noticed that it picks up on my voice from a greater distance. For the size, the speakers is not bad at all. Pair this guy with a sub and you really have a nicely packed entertaining miniature speaker system.

I have a google assistant and the echo. The google is smarter and able to answer more questions effectively. The Echo has it's place though especially for Amazon orders.
