This is an excellent product with easy set up and excellent sound.

Simple set up, very good quality of sound for its size and price.

The setup is quick and easy. You can't do much other than quick questions to the web. Adding accessories to turn on lights or control tv or furnace would really make it more valuable. I got it for the TV remote, and used the Harmony. It worked great with remote. Bought for my 89 year old Mother. She did not have the voice to control it. For me, it works.

Got this as a gift for my wife for Christmas! I love the easy setup and the overall versatility of this ingenious gadget! However, my wife is so worried about someone "spying" on us that she has it in a constant shutdown state! Poor Alexa must be getting Stockholm's Syndrome by now!

It's extremely easy to use and the sound is awesome.

A curiosity to begin with, the Echo is now used regularly everyday as more features are added to the world of Alexa! It's so easy to set up and use and then the fun begins! For its size the speaker provides a really good sound in an average size room.

Purchased this for my wife as a novelty gift, but little did I know it was anything but. She isn't a techie person, but she loves this device. It was easy to setup and she uses it for everything from the alarm clock, checking the weather, and more. It was a little gift that turned out to be an instant hit.

Had the 1st generation. Bought the new one for my mother for Christmas. Should continue to be useful for home automation and day-to-day.

added a second echo device to expand the music and extend the range of communication with smart home features through my home. The connection process was easy enough... with the only challenge was with the delay in coordination between devices for the first couple of days. When standing between devices, there was confusion between which device should answer and i would get conflicting / different responses. Check for software updates and a second install corrected issues. not a huge issue, more of a nuisance. Systems now runs smoothly.

I bought it for a Xmas present and the sales associate was so helpful and informative, I ended up buying one for myself. Great gadget.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas. Not sure how well the product performs yet. I will update my review once she has used this item.

We started with the Amazon Echo Dot, and liked it so much that we upgraded to the bigger Echo and are so glad that we did! We have not had any problems with the unit and it’s great to have for information, weather, etc...would be lost without it now. BTW, the Echo Dot is now being enjoyed by my wife in her craft room, she loves it!

It’s really cool because my baby uses it to play baby shark and her other favorite songs all day. At first it couldn’t understand her but it say sometimes it has a hard time understanding how ppl talk but it will get it. Now it recognizes when it’s her talking and what she is saying and she can control it on her own
