Easy setup, my 72 year old mom loves it! She actually went out and bought an Echo Dot for another room in her house so she has better range. The only challenge she had was forgetting for a while that you have to say Alexa first, and that she isn’t Alexi ... both times she thought she’d broken her Echo lol.

this speaker was an upgrade for my echo dots and I am extremely happy with the quality of the sound from such a small speaker overall and the quality of the sound it gets plenty of bass and is remarkably pleasant to listen to I will be upgrading my other echo dots as these continue to go on sale

If you are on the fence about buying an Echo, get off and go buy one. The sound is great and its ability to integrate with home automation and security devices has made it a part of our family! There's some really cool skills available for the Echo too (games, trivia, etc), which have added some new fun to our family time.

I tried the Echo and Apple TV 4th Generation for a home automation hub. I was biased to Apple because most of the other gadgets I have are Apple. The Echo wins. Not only are we using home automation but also calendar and lists. And the music is good enough. The Echo is in our kitchen and we have an Echo Dot in our bedroom.

It works great. I never thought I would want or need one prior to buying one. I don’t know what I’d do without it now lol

I have so far had a great experience with Alexa. I hadn’t figured out all her twerks and tricks yet, but so far so good.

Great sound and easy to use. This is my second one.

This is a really handy product to have, especially if you have gotten other home automation stuff, like Hue by Phillips.

Just whisper her name and she perks right up! It's nice to know she hear's you, and she's always has an answer. And ask her to do something and "BOOM", it's done. Unlike one of her counter parts that often says;"she doesn't understand or not able to do that". Alexa is sort of like "My new girlfriend".

What I like the most is how easy it understands me even from far away. I might have a little spanish accent and still alexa always understand. I mainly use it to control my cameras and phillips hue lights. Aside from that, I ask her to turn on my tv, set a timer for my coffee and update me on the weather and news.

Still learning Echo haven’t learned everything yet. But enjoy asking Alexa for information and music. Glad I bought it.

Works very well, microphone picks up sound from very far. Hooks up well with all my other smart plugs and echo products

The Amazon echo is good for all daily tasks. It can get nice and loud with a great bass for music, and has a lot of information stored to give you answers to what you need. I find myself talking to her randomly asking her to pause my tv show or set an alarm for certain things. Super nice!

I bought this after i saw my girlfriend have several in her home. i absolutely love it. i love being able to come home and say "Alexa turn on all lights" it saves me the trouble of having to put everything down (like if i had groceries) in order to turn on lights. Alexa makes my every day life much easier.

This is cooler than I thought it would be. I use it every day to start my day with news traffic and listening to music.

I already had an Echo and a dot. Bought these for my grandchildren so they each have their own and their own firestick

The Amazon Echo is a great device full of features and even integrates nicely into my Control4?home automation system.

This has been an amazing purchase. There is nothing it cannot do. We bought one for each family member for Christmas.

The Echo is a an excellent upgrade over the Dot. I have 2 dots, but the Echo is my primary speaker upstairs and it's plenty loud enough and even thumps a little from downstairs. Alexa is fine but I mainly use it to play my playlists. If you catch the Echo on sale for +/- $70 definitely pick it up.
