This speaker is one of the best I've owned. It gets extremely loud and it's easy to use. Like normal, I don't like that you have to be connected to the internet to use it and some songs aren't available although that probably doesnt have anything to do with the speaker. Alexa doesn't understand some things I ask, but it is an overall great speaker and I would recommend anyone to buy this product.

Alexa is better than what I thought I was getting! Can be used in so many ways, love it! I also feel safer since I live alone I’m able to call for help if a medical emergency happens.

Received similar "Alexa" as a gift and enjoyed so much we bought one for a daughter. Have connected several devices and lights to "Alexa" and is so easy to just ask it to turn lights on or off in different parts of the house. Had a funeral reception at our home and took it onto the patio and asked for pleasing background music to accompany our meal. Very refreshing and enjoyable to have soft, pleasant, well chosen music selections by Alexa in the background. Still learning additional actions to use "Alexa" for, such as phone call to another device owner.... Updates to allow removal of search history and noise copying will be much appreciated.

Amazon built upon a great concept with generation 1, then made it better with generation 2. Looks and sounds much better. Sound quality has improved, but still could be a bit better.

Another great Amazon product. I needed an additional Echo for the house to stream music and enjoy the smart home feature (lights, thermostat). Easy set up and the new look is great.

Alexa makes life so much easier! I don’t do too much of the fancy stuff. But even just for setting timers, reminders, alarms, checking the weather and small searches, she’s fantastic! I did the free trial of amazon music and the sound quality was really impressive - you can even tell her to adjust the treble/bass to get your perfect sound. Set up was easy, the app walks you through everything so quickly - anyone can do it!

The sound quality of the Echo is a little better than the Dot, but I expected more. The sensitivity of the microphones is not as good as the Dot. Everything else seems to be equal

I own the first generation Echo as well as this new model. I really can't tell much difference between the two except for size. Both work well and sound great for a small speaker.

This is my 2nd Echo, so I knew what I was getting into. I love that you can switch the sleeve out as an accessory. But the sound is great for music and the commands are flawless.

Oh my gosh this echo has changed our whole family's evenings at home! Everybody is always fighting for their turn to have Alexa play their music or ask questions!!! LOVE it!!!

Some nice improvements have been made from the first gen Echo. Overall, I like the smaller form factor, better sound quality and the overall appearance is nicer in the home too!

Sent it to my sister for her birthday to upgrade her fromother just the Echo Dot. She just got it last night, set it up immediately, and said the sound is amazing. She loves it.

This is a Christmas gift for my wife She has friends that have AI’s and decided on this one she is a prime member and that will be beneficial to her utilization of this device

This is wonderful product. The voice recognition is superb. Linked it to my smart home lights and it works great. Set-up was a little difficult, but I managed to figure it out.

This is great, we use it as an intercom between rooms with echo dots. It's great for listening to music, finding out traffic, time, weather, and Alexa will even tell you a joke

We had two amazon echo dots and loved their functionality and sound. This one blows me away with the sound quality. Love the multi-room sound when combined with the echo dots.

I love my technical gadgets and this one definitely ranks up there. Set up was easy through the app on my phone and directions. I probably don't use it as much as I can but love adding items to the shopping list automatically by speaking to it and playing music - can even ask Alexa to replay the last song if you really like it. A lot of info can be gleaned from Alexa and hopefully will use her more often in the future.

This is the best purchase I ever made. Alexia answers all my questions. Alexia sounds great. Better than Bose. She can’t translate or search other languages. But she’s great.

it’s like having a voice activated computer or smart phone in the room with you. The sound quality for music was much better than I expected too. Very happy with my new “toy”

The 2nd gen Alexa is smaller than its predecessor. Its seems to pick up voice recognition a little better. Great device for those who are trying to set up smart home features
