The Echo works very well even with specific questions and has great room filling sound.

Purchased the 2nd gen to replace a 1st gen "lost" in my recent move. Alexa does great things and the speaker is pretty good too.

I really like the new look of the gen 2 Echo. Sounds great, listens and picks up on audio cues really well, and looks fantastic.

I used to think that there was no need for an Alexa since I had a cell phone with Google Assistant but Alexa is just SO MUCH better! The echo makes a great intercom system, the speaker is decent for music (though the Sonos is WAY better), and the skills are easy to set up. Alexa is super useful, I definitely recommend getting one.

I have the 1st gen Alexa and i was sceptical as to whether or not this one would sound better, but bought this for my parents for Christmas and while setting it up for them I could hear a clear upgrade. Functionality-wise, there isn’t much of a difference but this model definitely looks nicer than the older ones.

We are able to link our Echo 2, Echo Show, and Echo Plus together and stream music through the whole house. Highly recommended

simple to setup and works very well, lets you know when package arrives and so many things you can program Alexa to do , works well with my smart TV and Light , A real time saver for so many things, Very well made. Great sound connects to my phone and computers via bluetooth so can listen to music while i work.

We got the Echo based on exhaustive research into voice assistants and I have to say: we made the right choice. It works as advertised and we actually have fun figuring out all the things it can do. We're upgrading to a smart home once our renovation is complete and I look forward to expanding the Echo's use even further.

I love Alexa and the ability to link smart devices. The new gen. 2 Echo is smaller and looks great. My only criticism is there does seem to be, in my opinion, slightly lower sound quality than in the original. Still...great device.

I had an original Echo and decided to add a few more to my house. This addition to the Echo family is great! Sounds better than the first Gen and is a bit shorter so it blends in better, especially with the gray fabric covering. Listen to music, set multiple timers, get the latest weather or news, etc.

Echo works perfect. The sound quality is superb. Love using it and plan in hooking mire items in the house to use with it
