    It can be helpful with the temperature of the house. I was able to connect it to my nest controller and ask what is the temperature. Then I can tell it to set the temperature to what I want.

    My wife and I have fun using it but there are a few problems. The Bluetooth connects easily but sometimes the audio pops I'm and out. Very annoying and requires a power down to correct. We also own a Dot. Bought it to share music in several rooms. It works but the music quality degrades extensively when playing through the "group" skill. Alexa also periodically wakes up and responds to unasked questions even in a quite room. It'd okay but, could be better!
