We use this to play music in our kitchen and control smart devices, it works great!

I have a blast with this thing. It’s informative, entertaining, and I have a whole bunch of smart home devices that I use it with. I’m going to get a Show next, just to enhance the experience. I don’t think you would be disappointed and I think the sound is more than adequate for daily use. I pair it to a Bluetooth Bose for a better music experience, but it isn’t that bad on its own. Recommend.

Bought Amazon echo on Black Friday. Great price $79.99. My kids love they can have Alexa play their favorite music. Still haven’t had time to fully use it but I like it so far.

Alexa is so helpful and alert as soon as you say her name. Very good speaker too.

Works, well and sounds better than the dot and now has an auxiliary output, which is useful. Can't say it sounds better than the previous version, but definitely looks better.

I bought this as a Christmas present. What caught my attention most was the Echo Skills and that Alexa is always getting smarter. The Skills capablities such as ordering a pizza from Domino's, requesting a ride from Uber, tracking your fitness with Fitbit, and controlling your TV will be a hit. Also, the fact that new skills are being added all the time will keep the product "fresh". I like the feature that the more you use Echo, the more Alexa adapts to your speech patterns, vocabulary, and personal preferences and because Echo is always connected, updates are delivered automatically. I think this will be a great gift!
