While this product has many limitations It surpassed my expectations and functions remarkably well - doing the things that for the moment it is able to do. I enjoy it thoroughly echo / Alexa will only get better with time

Still learning how to use. The commercials make it look so easy, but they leave pieces out, like you should have Amazon Prime, etc for it to operate as shown. My bad that I didn’t read more but I’m still very glad I purchased.

This device is very well built. Powered by Amazon AI platform it understands me perfectly, except when my voice is blended with the screams of my excited boys. It plays music through a very good sounding speaker and navigates my Fire TV with almost spooky precision. If you into "talking to the speaker" you can do so much more ... I install one "skill" at a time and quickly forget I did. But it is very capable of learning new features, like locating a business, rating products, predicting weather, etc.

I truly use my Echo for everything. Now when I'm sleeping anywhere but my own apartment, it feels odd not to have Alexa "start my day". I'm a big fan of the routine features, and the smart plug (sold separately, but a great addition!). The quality of the speaker is also fantastic. The speaker was the main reason I purchased the Echo, but I have gotten so much out of it. Almost 2 years and still working just as well as it did on Day 1!

once alexa learns your voice and speech patterns it is a functional device

Use when outside, play music, easy to use and travels anywhere. Previously had a echo dot, the sound quality is better

easy to set up and sound of it full. i connected to my smart tv but it was lagging. overall great speaker and what it was made for.

I wasn't going to buy this, but I saw one at a friends house. they used it all weekend and loved it. I came home and bought an echo and 2 dots. my boyfriend hated the idea of having "someone listening" all the time but after a week he loves it and wants more dots. it is making us lazier though. we went out and bought an echo plus and 6 Phillips hues smart bulbs so we don't even have to get off the couch to turn the lights on and off. we r all going to turn into WALL-E people in the near future.

This is my second one. And purchase one for my son as well. Sounds good works good when you connect other things to it

So glad I purchased this. It sounds much better than my echo. It works great with my hue bulbs. There’s so much this thing can do!

Used primarily to access Alexa for controlling lights, turn on coffee pot in morning, music and making hands free phone calls. Does all this effortlessly, links to cell phone so you can listen to all your downloaded music. Recommend this to anyone needing any of the above applications. Just get speaker download Alexa app for Android or IPhone from your phones App Store for free. If you want to listen to all music you may want to add Amazon music for less than $10 a month.

Using a Best Buy gift card from my wife for my birthday, I bought this great echo. The sound is amazing and was easy to set up!

My parents loved and was easy to set up for them. Now they can get the weather and music with easy voice command

Love my Alexa Echo got it for Christmas! I linked it with my Dot and my Alexa app. I use it to make lists for all different store. Once linked with your phone all you have to do for example is say Alexa can you add milk to my Aldi list and she repeats it back and adds it. You can also make hands free calls by saying Alexa call dad, and she repeats back calling dad. Listening to our favorite songs on I Heart etc ask quick questions like Alexa how long do you need to cook a poached egg for. I love it!!!

OMG, how have we gone so long without it? It only took a day or two and we are hooked. Adding accessories on a regular bases now.

Seems to work as advertised. Sound is good. Looking forward to more use.
