For it's size it it has incredible sound. Too bad it's a gift.

The Echo is pretty cool to have in you living room it you have smart devices located in there and the chicken. It is easy to use and set up. The only thing I have a problem with is that it starts listening for a command even though I did not say Alexa. I am having the same problem with my Alexa dot. Dont know if this a user error or a technical one. over all I like it and it a convenience to have around the house.

Music is very clear and the software is very user friendly. Bought for my grandparents and they love it.

The aesthetics are better than the original Echo and the response time seems a litte faster. I'm not convinced that the sound quality is better than the original Echo even after the "firmware fixes". So, if you have a V1, the only reason to upgrade is that this unit blends better into home decor. If you want better sound, your milage may vary.

Great speaker with Alexa integrated. The Charcoal fabric looks nice and the sound is loud and clear.

This Echo is in our bathroom. It has no camera. works well receiving AM / FM stations and Amazon oldies over the internet. Also used to stream TV audio. Has worked fairly well. Unit was returned and replaced by Amazon during the initial warrantee period because the sound would cut off. Don't know if it was because of the humidity in the bathroom. Sound is relatively good, sufficient for the bathroom.

The amazon Alexa is just fun and helpful. My kids love having her sing jingles and songs. They even try asking for help with homework. Connectivity is easy. Great range for sound. Price was even better

There is always music in my house now. never need to find my speak and do the paring. ALEXA will get things done!

It’s cool how much stuff it can do, it’s alredy helped me make new routines and stick with them. The ability to ask a question, play music, set reminders is seamless and I prefer it over using my smartphone to do it.

The Echo 2nd generation is a great upgrade from the Dot. Sound is great and works very well and east to set up.

Works great but for best use you will need to join an Amazon music program. They have one with tens of millions songs (have had every song I requested) setup just for Echo costing only 3.99 per month

Bought Echo's in the past and they were entertaining. Should be a similar experience for my family member who receives it. Also to k=note, they have the ability to make calls to anyone now! Big Plus.

I use my echo to listen to music almost every day while getting ready for work. Very loud and easy to use.
