You have to decide which system is best for you Amazon or Google -I am an Amazon person - but these things are great for so many things cannot list them all. Does take a good deal of "research" to find out how to set everything up to get full advantage. Helps if you have a 13 year old around to program them....

AMazon echo is great it understands very easily and helps me with my music and weather.

I purchased this for as a Christmas gift for my hubby. We love it!! We have so much fun asking Alexa questions. I also bought Echo Dot and Philips Hue light starter set. Now we can ask Alexa to turn lights on and off, dim lights, etc. I bought an Echo for my mom. I love the Drop In feature. You can drop in on anyone who has an Echo. Now I “Drop in” on my mom all the time! Echo was easy to set up and the app is easy to use.

I have to say I wasn’t interested in purchasing Alexa. I received this from my husband for Christmas. Now I can’t imagine not having her. We use her to start music while we are cooking dinner, start the timer, control our hue lighting system, start a Roomba vacuum cleaner. I know there is so much more she can do but we are just beginning the process of turning our home into a smart home. I am anxious to see all she can do.

I like it very well.very useful one.I would suggest this to buy .great product for use in home as well as when we go for vaction . it is very useful and user friendly product..I wlould suggest this one to buy those who are intrested music .will defintely refer someon to buy this product for music lovers and others to for using other devices along with this product.learning to use is so simple and it is user friendly too.

The Echo is a great smart home product. I bought this one as a present but have one myself. Alexa is fun to have around. Instantly answers questions, plays music, gives you the weather for anywhere you want. Very easy to set up. Super easy to use. The things it can do just keep expanding. I recently connect it to my Hue lighting system. Now it will turn on lights in the house. I highly recommend this smart home addition.

I love having this Echo in my house. I downloaded the app, then linked it to my Insteon Hub, and now I can control all of the connected lights and devices with a simple voice command. Then, I linked it to my SiriusXM, and I can ask for any SiriusXM station. Even without SiriusXM, I listen to radio station from all over the country for free, like iHeart, TuneIn, even the station from my old hometown. I even used Bluetooth to link it to my Bose Mini wireless speaker in the bedroom. (Geek Alert) And with the far-field voice control, I can speak commands in my bedroom, and it hears me in the kitchen. So glad I bought this present for myself.

My family really enjoys these items because we are always coming up with new ways to utilize them. I want to buy one for my parents - I think they will bet a kick out of them.

Had bought the first generation as a gift for my mom and she loved it. So i decided to get this next one for me. Also want to add that i like that echo can turn on lights too.

We use our Echo for controlling our smart devices, check the weather, etc. Easy to setup and use. The sound on this size is much better than the dot. Alexa gets confused if we speak too fast.
