Easy to setup and sounds great. Not too different from the Echo Plus.

I have lights hooked up to turn on and off... I ask the weather every morning before leaving for work...I set the alarm every night...and right now I am listening to my favorite radio station! I haven't shared with my husband that Alexa can give him the days line up and times of all the sports for that day and what channels they are on...shhhh, it's my secret!

I like the refreshed look/smaller form factor of this one vs the 1st generation Echo. Seems like the sound's a little better?...clearer...?

Really great sound from speaker and very simple to use.

I actually purchased one of these last year and decided recently to purchase a 2nd Echo to do the stereo pairing feature w/ my Amazon Echo Sub and, it sounds amazing when playing music from my Spotify account which is synced w/ my Alexa app. Gives a great room filling sound. It's also great for gathering info such as weather updates, store/restaurant locations and even mathematic questions. For example, you can ask Alexa how ounces are in a gallon or, what's the conversion from kilograms to lbs. or cm to inches. I love it!

Originally thought Alexa was a creepy 1984-type spying mechanism, but a friend talked me into buying one. I set it up to only play Pandora and to give me a morning news update, and I love it. Sound quality is excellent. I would recommend this unit. However, I thought I was buying a 3rd generation—this is a second; but quality is great.

The Echo is amazing when it does what it as designed to do. Once in awhile it stops playing. I know my wifi is strong and cannot find a reason why it should stop. If you ask Alexa, it responds 'I do not know what went wrong." I did send a question in the feedback section of the app on my phone but got no response. Alexa once said I could check the history on the app, but I am unable to find it, and Alexa has no help finding it if you ask. I did try relocating my modem, It may have helped as the occurrences have lessened.

Alexa is great. The only problem is, you do need to upgrade to get a good sized music library available to you. She doesn’t know everything.

super easy to figure out, great speaker, matches any decor

I was very excited about my new echo. The problem is sometimes it responds and sometimes it will cut off. I've only had it a couple of days. I'm going to try it out for about a week and see what happens.

2nd generation echo works fine,had a hard time with the alexa app on iphone to link with harmony hub i had to use my computer to link it up.

Whether I need to know the time, weather, or an alarm set, Alexa can do it. It is nice to be hands free and not have to search for anything.
