Great gadget but a little freaky

Something about the Alexa products allows it to eavesdrop on anything being said. My husband and I were talking about purchasing an item and almost immediately an advertisement for that item showed up on my husband‘s Facebook page. That has happened several times and it’s not a coincidence. We were not even speaking to Alexa so it should not have been listening,
