As far as appearance it is very nice I could tell you more after my wife unwraps it !

Use this as a voice assistant for other smart home devices and as a portable music player. Ended up subscribing to amazon music for echo unlimited for an extra 4 bucks a month, but it contains almost every song I can think of( missing T-Ride’sBack door Romeo)

I had bought this as s gift for my nephew and it was a great hit not just with him but with my 2 boys as well. We had so much fun as a family asking soooooo many questions, asking her to play songs, news and even asking her to tell jokes!!!!! Money well spent.

Haha! I bought this for myself and my family wanted one so I gave it to them for Christmas. It took awhile for them to decide who was going to set it up, but they did it! It is so nice to just ask for music to come on and magic! It plays! Love this new toy!

With the exception of asking for weather reports and some health questions - the Echo is superior to our Google Home. Along with our Amazon Prime Music it performs nearly flawlessly. The sound quality is demonstrably richer and deeper than Google. Liked it so much we bought an Echo Dot for my home office. The fiance' is not a fan of me popping in via "Drop In" when we are both working from home.

Alexa is our new BFF. We have her in the bathroom. She gives us the news, weather, schedule for the day. She has even told my husband he needs to tell me he loves me himself. I love throwing names at her and hearing an awesome selection of my favorite artists.

It’s very good to let us know what’s going on around the globe with a fraction of second by voice recognition and climate temperatures everywhere and elsewhere. Good stuff for use but it makes me more lazy

It's a good speaker, setup was easy, Alexa works fine. Just how do you make good use of this, I hooked it up to our Lux Geo thermostat, so I can tell it to heat or cool the house, but I can also do this from my phone, so I am just not so sure about the use cases. We do like it to play music (we have Amazon prime) and to play NPR news in the morning.

Make your life easier at home. Use your voice to set timers, add items to lists, and create calendar events and reminders. You can also check the news, weather, or traffic. Ask for sports scores, movie showtimes, restaurant hours, or information.

Will be buying another as the speaker capabilities with the dot just are not enough

I originally bought the echo Dot. Actually got it as a gift. Really like the Dot but I wanted a louder and a more bass sound. The Echo does both and I couldn’t be happier with the sound quality from such a small device. Alexa is awesome also.

The Echo has a great volume speaker. I can have it in my living room, and turn it up enough to hear in all adjacent rooms. Great for playing music while cooking. Alexa also does a good job of only one device replying, and I rarely have to repeat a command.

I bought this as a gift for my 83 year old internet search engine challenged father and he loves it, since all he has to do is ask a question to Alexa, instead of trying to figure out how to use an internet search engine such as Google to look up something.

One word! GENIUS!! Echo Dot 2 is worth every penny! Clear and loud, perfect for streaming any music platform and more. Highly recommend this item! Currently my best friend at home!

The speaker is a great speaker. It plays loud with no distortion. It has great bass it’s very clear. Very fashionable. You won’t believe the sound that comes out of it. Works very very well I would highly recommend it you won’t be disappointed
