Really easy to setup. Sound is superb. Every generation appears to get better.

Look like a hight quality device and the sound is great for the size

Got tired of the terrible sound quality in the smaller puck echo speakers. This was defiantly and improvement on that. I like to listen to nature sounds when I go to sleep but the smaller speakers on the old echo always sounded to tinny. These new speakers have solved that problem and with Alexa built in I can easily command the divice to do different things.

After a month I can say that the Echo is a pretty good device. It's not perfect, there are times when it doesn't seem to know I'm speaking to it. But generally, the skills that I've programmed work fine. One thing that would be nice (Alexa are you reading this?) is when playing an album or playlist I'd like to be able to skip directly to a certain track and then have it play from there. I got mine on black Friday along with a dot for a good price so the value in this particular case was good. The sound is adequate and I'm planning to get some smart plugs to see how having a smart home is. If you want a good smart speaker and are a fan of Amazon this one's the one to get.

I got this for my non-technical husband, and actually I was nervous about whether he would use it. He initially laughed, suspecting it was not the right kind of gift for him. But once we linked his phone to it, he is able to use it daily as he plays his music from "back in the day" by just asking for a particular artist or song. He uses it daily now as his source for music.

I like the blue color version. Loud speaker with good Bass sound.

I use this echo 3rd generation smart speaker in the family room. It has a great sound with pretty good bass. I also have 3 echo 3rd generations with the clock and 2 regular 3rd generations echoes. I’m able to play music in the entire house and garage when using the Play Everywhere group in the Alexa app. Amazingly all devices are in sync, so the sound is great!

I just wanted a small speaker for the kitchen and this was on sale. I am not someone who is that discerning about audio quality so I am not sure how it compares to the Apple or Google product or basic portable speakers of the same price but this is great for me. I love it. Getting it to answer most questions is easy and adding Alexa Skills is easy as well.

This smart speaker with Alexa is a great speaker when you wanna just sit back and blast your tunes and to play sleep music and slowly drift of to sleep and to control you smart lights cbyge,kasa, etc its great gift for family members and to wake your kids up i love this speaker while i still had it it got stolen recently but great

I purchased the Amazon - Echo Smart Speaker with Alexa and have to say I love it! I am using the shopping list function every time I go to the grocery store. I start my day with the daily briefing that reads all of my favorite news sources and enjoy listening to music while cooking in the kitchen. I would recommend it to anyone.
