The first Alexa device I bought. It's in the living room and controls all lights, answers questions, gives me updates on weather, sports etc. Has good sound and bass for a small speaker

I've been watching this for some time, I'm glad I finally got it. I have always bought the smaller hockey puck echo dots which works for me as ASMR and rain sound sleep machines. Then last year, I bought the new echo dot that is round like this one, I thought it would be an improvement to playing music, but I was not as impressed. However, this bigger echo brings more bass to many of the music I play, a surprisingly decent amount. I also like the modern look of it. There is so much to say, but others have said it already and best.

The sound is exceptional especially after a few tweaks from my IPhone. The response is much much better than my echo dot 2nd generation. Only complain, I wish the power cord was longer .

The 4th gen Alexa has a great sound. Plenty of bass. I generally turn it down. Works great for notifying you of Amazon packages. A solid product. Even more so if you can catch it on sale.

I loved this has it for a year already and haven’t had any problems would definitely recommend getting one. is also loud enough if you like to listen to music

Sounds beautiful and pairs easily with my other one for a studio setup.

I enjoy my echo dot. I have two paired together as speakers and they do great. Love the sound. So far no issues!

Easy set up. Motion sensor turns Sengled light on & off, or program light routine, turn lights any color, ask Alexa Inside temperature, Outside temperature, weather, answers questions, play music w great sound quality. Love it!

While the Echo Dot is a fine gem, truly the Amazon - Echo (4th Gen) with premium sound, smart home hub and Alexa is a must for setting up a SMART Home. Every week I am finding new ways to use this hub. The set up is very easy, great sound, and quick response. I am happy with this purchase.

Got this for my girlfriend on my birthday...wait....actually got it for me, but she confiscated it. This sounds a lot better than I thought it would, not as much range as my Echo Plus, but significantly better than the Dot. Even has a little bass without being muddy. Worth the extra 20 over the Dot.

Great update to original. I saw some negative reviews on line but decided to try it out anyway, glad I did. It has a more modern look which makes it easier to interface into your system. For the size the sound is amazing. For the full stereo effect with your TV, you must get two. Takes up less space than sound bar,

Design is elegant and clean in my home. Sound is phenomenal.

This is my 4th or 5th Echo device and while it's a little bigger than the others, it has superior sound! Excellent if you're looking for an upgrade!

This was exactly what my husband was loooking for because it has the AUX jacks in the back and the newer models no longer have them. Amazon does not sell this Generation to the U.S. anymore.

I recently bought a homepod mini to see how it compares to this Echo. I gotta be honest that the smaller homepod mini sounds much better than the bigger Echo....but I'm still liking the Echo device better because of Alexa. I have programed Alexa to greet me every morning with a positive message, the weather report and the news. Alexa also greets me when I get home after work and sings me a little song. Alexa dims my lights in the evening and later says good night and plays 30 mins of soothing music while I drift off to sleep. I love all of the things I can program Alexa do for me. Unfortunately I cannot program Siri on the homepod to do all of these things. Siri can play music when you ask her to and tell you the weather when you ask her to but it doesn't compare to Alexa. Alexa also tells me when there is a delivery which is super cool. I'll keep both devices but honestly, the Echo devices rule in my household.

I received this item as a gift and was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality. Small in size but the sound is plentiful! I am enjoying my Echo sound system and Alexa!!
