Awesome sounds from a pair - want bluetooth stereo

The only cons is that when using them as bluetooth - you cannot get the pair to play in stereo. alexa app needs to be able to route bluetooth sound from other devices through the app to the speakers so it can be done in stereo - or build this ability into the speakers themselves.

HATE F@$%ING amazon and there commercials every 2 songs. I will not listen to a commercial, i tell her to stop and request a new channel, have not had a chance to switch to something else yet but i will. I will NEVER buy another thing from amazon again, F#$K them.

Posted .Hello DonaldZ! I am so glad that you are enjoying your Echo! The service that you are using for free for your music by default is Amazon Music which if you are not a subscriber for, does include ads. This is just a part of the service to allow for free music. You can switch this at any time to your music service of choice (many of which do also include their own ads if you are not a paying subscriber, this is not exclusive to Amazon products). Music services like Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, etc are just a few of the options. You can do this by going to your Alexa Smartphone app on your smartphone and navigating to More (the 3 lined icon in the bottom)>Music & More>Settings(gear icon in the top right) and then selecting your default service for Artist and Genre Stations, Music, and Podcasts. This should open up your options to possibly find a music service more to your liking. Did keep the dot(3rd generation) for a different room and purchased this for my bedroom. It is worth the extra investment. The sound difference is noticeable at least for my ears. Noticed other reviews complaining about the size, white cord, and not being able to hear their wake up command. For me it detects my natural voice from 2 rooms away while it is playing music so no problems for me there. Size is fine and different color cord doesn"t matter to me. Its all about sound and functionality for me. Just buy it, you won"t be disappointed.

I’ve used all echos from gen 1 to this current gen 4. This is a big improvement over the previous gens. Sound is great. The stereo pair option is a must. Use two to fill a room with great sound. Catch them on sale on it’s cheaper than any Sonos or Bose product with virtually the same performance.
