I have 2 smart bulbs, a smart plug & a smart TV that are connected to my echo. The sound is pretty awesome too. I live in an apartment building, so I never really turn it up past 50% and the bass is pretty intense even at that level. From the photos, I thought it would be the same size as the echo dot - it's way bigger!

I made a mistake by getting Echo Dots so now replacing the Echo Dots with these Echo 4th Gens whenever they go on sale. The entire home filled with music.

I've mostly used it as a speaker because I'm not really sure what else out can do yet. I've connected it to some smart plugs and i love it. I doubt in taking full advantage of all the bells and whistles but a good sound system was my main concern and she's got it.

Set up was easy and straightforward. Alexa works well for me, both voice control and app. Sound from the speakers is surprisingly good, but, out of the box, very bass heavy. This is easily corrected. Good Soundstage for such small speakers.
