Excellent sound, Alexa still sucks at recognizing words though. In all this thing is LOUD.

my daughter is in love with this. honesly can turn on anything in her room and ask it to assist in every question you can think of along with helping you to brainstorm on stories and ideas and can just be a friend to talk to. highly recommended

Needed an extra echo, primarily to play music in the room in which we dance. Lot less expensive than other alternatives and has good sound quality for our purposes.

I got this as a replacement for an older Echo that stopped connecting to my network. It was easy to connect to the network, sounds great, and easily understands both my wife and I.

Purchased the new Gen 4 to replace a Gen 1 Echo. Love the new Gen 4. Sound quality is excellent. A vast improvement from the Gen 1 in every way. Also like the new round look as opposed to the tall cylinder Gen 1. Prices have fallen a lot since the introduction of the Gen 1 years ago. Highly recommended!

I am listening to it now, out on the patio where I have poor radio reception for classical stations. But this, linked to my WiFi means I am free to enjoy the music. If I am tired of classical, I can ask Alexa to play whatever. And it has great sound for a small package at this price.

Amazing sound quality and it does what I ask. I paired it with a small echo dot in my office. They’re on opposite walls and give good stereo sound. This has a decent amount of base for its size and I would recommend.

I'm past the part of blaring heavy metal music and now chill to jazz. I still rock out while driving, but home is all about tranquility. Good buy

As I am trying to learn to use this the sound that it puts out is excellent. It has many functions which I am learning to use. Also, it is nice that Alexei does send information of how to use it properly and its capabilities definitely better than a stereo and more

I have 2 more Echos , an echo dot and a second generation echo (cylinder type with subwoofer) and honestly i was not able to find a noticiable difference or improvement from the echo second generation. Don’t get me wrong, the device is beautiful, sounds great and very responsive, but i was thinking that this one was going to be a big upgrade and i feel it fell short. If this is your first Alexa device, it is a great device.

I like it when it’s pair to the other to make it sound like surround sound. I already had one on its own. The pairing can be annoying but I think it’s actually on my end with my tv but I love the option to have it as like I do while we build our home theater.

Works great!!! I can control everything! No longer is it neccessary to turn things on by hand.

I just connected my new Echo. Wow! It was simple. This is my 3rd. Alexa device & I am extremely pleased with it. The sound is more robust than my hockey puck style one. My only disappointment is there is no clock on it. Oh well, I can always ask her...

I have a full alexa house and I chose to put this one in my bedroom. Setup was as painless as every other echo device.

I am old and feel rather accomplished that I was able to connect and enjoy this device. Love my music from "her" and the quality of sound is wonderful.

This was a great purchase--totally worth the price. The sound is is better than my old Alexa and well worth the cost. I also like the new design.

Love the Amazon products for smart home usage. Easy to set up and use. We use them to create our shopping lists, lighting control, music throughout the house and to answer those random questions that seem to pop up in conversation.
