For whatever reason they are not compatible. I had the Geek Squad come over to hook it up but they were unsuccessful. It could not turn the TV on or off. It also could not go to different channels or apps. Big disappointment.

If you are wanting to control your TV and smart home devices, you may want to consider the Fire TV Cube instead of the Echo 4th Gen. Most Samsung TVs are compatible with Alexa, but some have it already built in. Without knowing the TV model number, we are unsure, but we would love to help you further. Even being the premium version their lows still aren’t not great. They do have clear mids and highs that fill the room though.
