Upgraded from the 2nd Gen and WOW what a difference! Sounds so much better than a standard stereo speaker. This new Echo has the lows, mids, and highs you need in a smart home hub system.

The sound is great much louder and clearer than I thought that it would be. It goes great with the rest of my Amazon devices.

Purchased this echo for my bedroom because my wife likes listening to music before she goes to work. The sound is great plus it has Alexa I really like the update features such as the in and out inputs, it also tells me the temperature in my room. So overall am please with my purchase.

Have the echo dot, wanted a bigger sound so went this way and it did not disappoint. The sound, volume, bass, richness is amazing! I do have trouble pairing it via blue tooth with my iPhone - would like to listen to my apple podcasts this way - that was the fourth star! I cannot get this to work. Also, well ... Alexa is Alexa - I named my echo group Asbury and "she" is most times looking for a music group named Asbury !!! Ugh!!!!

I didn't think the sound on this thing would be that great, but for such a small little thing it packs a lil punch. The sound is great, and unlike my old Alexa I don't have to scream at the top of my lungs to give a command if I'm not right next to it.

Better than previous versions. The sound is fantastic and feels more responsive than the old one I had!

My wife would listen to her phone while working in the kitchen and it drove me nuts. I bought this and even she had to say that it sounds so much better. Of course now that we have Alexa we use it for so much more than just music.

The Amazon Echo Dot is the best device in the house! Always nice to hear with the voice & works well with other smart deceives.

Recently bought this and 2 echo dots. Really like being able to jus talk to it and it does what I say. I’m still learning how to use it with “ Alexa” being I’m not tech savvy but looking forward to adding other smart devices to pair with it.

I love this. I finally got over my fear of “big brother” listening in. They have a mute feature so if you still hold that fear. But great sound quality a lot louder than the previous gen. I pair it with a sengal light bulb and it works perfectly.

Great speaker for the size and what it costs. It is convenient to have the Alexa app right there in the room to answer questions or work smart devices. Like many have said it would have been better if the cord was the same color as the spere.

I love my Alexa! I use it mostly as a radio in my kitchen. It has such good sound. I also use it as an intercom for the house….it works ok for this purpose. I also use it with my Phillips Hue to turn my bedroom lights off and on. I love it!

Everything about this product is amazing! Has good bass as well as audio, was worth the money.

Much better sound quality then I expected. When using the Alexa command features the speaker is able to hear me 100% of the time. I hate repeating myself trying to get Alexa to respond so I was very impressed with how well it worked.

This is one of 4 Amazon Alexa dots we have in our home. We absolutely love them. They can be used to drop in from room to room to talk or to play music in one room or set up groups of rooms. I highly recommend this. Bob Percy

One of the best values ever in a smart speaker. Not only does it look good and work great, it sounds absolutely amazing with clear vocals and nicely emphasized bass output. Love it.
