This has been purchased as a Christmas gift. I did like the convenience of ordering on line & picking up the next day

Amazon Alexa works great very out standing product

I’m considering returning and getting an “i” device instead. The bass sounds muddy to me and is not connecting to my Phillips hue (although my other one does). I’ve had a couple connectivity issues that have caused a lot of annoyance. I’m experienced w these devices and own several, I work in tech, and I’m sure it is not “operator error”. This one is likely going back.

With my Best Buy rewards and the sale price got it for less then Amazon... Sometimes brick and motor stores are worth the trip...

sounds good up to the medium volume level but beyond that it sounds terrible.

Don’t like how you have to but amazon music to pick music that you are picking and not some radio since amazon is a really rich company.

Overall great purchase just some time she has issue hearing me when my previous dot never had this issue as much

Good product but i think echo 2 gen is louder than this one and alexa voice command is not responding to my voice if and not close enough.

I only wish that these had a true left and right channel. buttons are a little hard to get used to.

Much better sound than an Echo dot and also has a temperature sensor. Handy for knowing the temperature for the room it is in.

So far we have enjoyed using this item. We especially wanted it to control our porch light.

Original Echo began acting up and this new model was on sale for Black Friday. Big upgrade in sound from the original model

Love the sound quality! It is great for listening to audiobooks and music. I love that it has a temperature sensor built in.

I have been to find the battery charger for Echo and my store does not have it. Amazon is not my favorite place to shop.

Whereas this product can do some functions very well, the primary reason for purchasing this was to allow a disabled family member to have voice control over the "alexa friendly LG smart TV" and also via voice control only make and answer phone calls.... and this cannot do that. For example, the only way Echo can answer incoming phone calls is if the caller initiates the call from an Alexa app. In our instance, Echo could not fully control all TV function by voice only and the TV actually has Amazon Alexa built in. I spoke with 5 Alexa Echo specialists to help with the install and still had problems. I next private paid for a Geek Squad Techie to arrive at the home to complete the very frustrating install. The Geek Squad agent with 15 years of experience was the person who finally informed me I was not doing anything wrong...the product itself is marketed to indicate you can achieve a total smart home via voice control only and this is just not true. In fairness neither Google or Siri have a product that works...but this is of little help to the disabled community. Sadly the Geek Squad agent said products used to exist to allow full hands free control,but are not made anymore ...so the disabled community has fewer options in 2024 than 2014...who would have thought that technology options decreased over time?

I love the item, but the service is garbage. Advertising has ruined this item. Purchased with other Alexa items and am disgusted that I paid so much for Amazon to send me advertising in any way they can.
