We went with white and put it on top of our white cabinets in the kitchen. We can still see the lights when activated. It can hear you commands from pretty far and from other rooms. Its nice to have music playing quietly in the background when cooking or hanging out without the clutter of it being on the counter. It is small enough though for the counter and does sound pretty good for music.

I previously had upgraded from my echo 1st generation. I now experience new base and clear music without a problem. Alexa helps with me daily.

I dont use her for a smart home, i just want background music playing as i walk through the house. The output of sound quality is fantastic! And she can get loud if you want her to. Easy to set up, and the app is easy to use!

Love my Echo that I purchased to listen to music from my Amazon/ Pandora and SiriusXM. I also ask Alexa to make shopping lists for different stores. Alexa set up my commute route to work so in the morning I can listen to the weather and my commute information. I will purchase the battery stand so that I can listen to music on my patio.
