This Echo is great. The sound is good, but not Hi-Fi. But then again, I wasn't expecting it to be. Echo is very responsive and superior to its competition. Plus you couldn't beat the sale price.

Amazon has really stepped up these devices each new release. The sound from my original echo to this newest version is night and day. Highly recommend! 5 out of 5 stars!

This one happens to be in the bedroom and provides various sleep sounds with good quality and clarity. Further more I can get the weather reports before getting out of bed. Maybe it actually helps in the decision to get out of bed.
