I own a pair of echo 3rd gen speakers and was waiting for the 4th gen to be released. Picked up a pair at Best Buy on release date. Got them how and set them up in place of my 3rd gen. The have a larger sound stage than the 3rd gen. They will play very loud. What I didn't like was connection issues and Alexa didn't seem to be as responsive as my 3rd gen. After a few weeks I decided to return them and stick with my 3rd gen speakers.

This was my first foray into the smart speaker market and I wasn't disappointed. It has amazing sound quality and range of audio capabilities. It connects with little to no hassle and sits quietly in the corner until called upon.

i added a pair of these to my tv so i could get a better sound while watching tv and listening to music. all i can say is i am very satisfied. A simple process with connecting this to my firestick. kudos amazon

This is my third Echo 4th Gen. They perform incredibly! You can really hear the clearer treble, mid-range and deeper bass compared to the Echo 3rd Gen. which I have along with another 3 Echo Dot 4th Gen. I'm a big fan and you will be as well.

Very easy to set up and control. Very good for my 90 year old parents to use. Technology and price have finally matured to a perfect level.

Better than previous versions. The sound is fantastic and feels more responsive than the old one I had!

Amazon Echo is the best and the shape is very unusual and it does remind of the Star Wars Death Star is quick easy to setup have not had any issue since purchase date . Sound is is excellent better that the previous generation echo

Great product for around the house especially when it comes to memory I always seem to be forgetting things that I have to do or things that I want to buy in the future and this object helps keep me occupied while at the same time keeping me informed if used properly this essentially is the best household companion money can buy. This version is better with music compared to other models (louder, clearer, bass-ier)

Very happy with this! Clear tones, great volume. It's like a talking calendar. I use it for alarms, timers, weather, dates, ETC

My first Echo and I'm really happy with it. It's not a stereo system but for everyday listening to my Pandora, reminders, and morning alarms to my favorite playlist this is great! Sound is much bigger than seems possible for a speaker this size.

Wanted to get a second Alexa for my house and couldn't be happier. I think this one is louder than my old one, nothing wrong with that!

Excellent sound for a price, used it in my screened porch where there is considerable traffic noise, still clear bass and sound. works well with Alexa smart devices. paired it with Studio and superb sound quality

Definite upgrade from the older alexas or the little round dot ones. Not as good as Amazon claims it to be. The microphones are the worst part. They do not pick up like they used to. It is an ok product. I bought a bunch of them to play low level music in the house. Sonos is by far better, but this is a cheaper alternative, if you dont need the sonos for every song.
