Having a built in hub, and with good quality speakers, married with a 2nd Echo 4th Gen., you have a good quality stereo for a room or desktop.

I can ask it for traffic for a bridge, or ask it for the weather before i go out walking. It can also turn smart plugs and lights on and off. And i still haven't tried everything.

She has sent pictures on how it works and loves the wireless so it can be placed anywhere. Seems like the function of the Echo is great for anyone and operation is easy. We bought for our 24 yr. old.

It's nice to be able to have one point of management for smart devices for different vendors, so it was worth the upgrade.

The only drawback -- and this is not the fault of the device itself but probably the OS -- is that sometimes it does not hear or understand reasonably simple questions (alarm for "ten-fifty" is invariably interpreted as "ten-fifteen"; you have to set for "ten-forty-nine" or "ten-fifty-one"). The device itself is beautiful and produces good room filling sound.

Best Alexa Yet!

The sound quality is amazing compared to the previous generations. It’s also a lot more appealing in my opinion.
