We are very disappointed with this product. The store display and video says it is easy to connect and install. That is untrue and deceptive Best buy and Amazon fail to mention that this product will not work on older cars. Our cars are 15, 20 and 25 years old. We don't have any way to connect this to our current car radios. Our cars have no Bluetooth or plug in adapter that they mention in the instructions. If you dont have a newer automobile this product will not work. We will be returning these immediately.

The audio quality is good and volume levels are sensitive. The voice control is nice and Google assistant will also work through it (but you have to talk a little louder for it to hear you). Only 4 stars because the Alexa app that enables the voice controls wasn't working to play music. I redownloaded it and it works again.

This Amazon Echo works seamlessly with the Bluetooth and responds to voice just like the other Echo devices that we use in our home. This 2nd Gen version is vastly superior to Gen 1, which was not the best. I'm pleased with the quality and value.

When I had rewards points that covered most of the cost, I pulled the trigger. It works great! I literally set it up and was using it in 5 minutes in the BestBuy parking lot! Answer a couple questions... I chose wired Apple CarPlay, linked Spotify account... ready to go. We use the Alexa shopping list feature at home and now, if we think of something we need on the list we can just add it while in the car, before we forget. ( we are 70+ years )It has been solid. No issues. Happy with the purchase.

Posted .Hi EGray01, I am sorry to see the experience you are having so far. In many cases, connectivity issues can be resolved with a reset of the device.
Press the Mute button and then hold down the Action button for 15 seconds until Alexa says that your device is resetting.
Wait for the light bar to pulse orange and then complete setup again.
Unpair or Forget your Echo Auto from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
Open your mobile device's Bluetooth settings.
Select your Echo Auto and Unpair (Android) or Forget Device (iOS).
Remove your Echo Auto in the Alexa App.
Open the Alexa app.
Select Devices .
If your Echo Auto is listed, select it and Forget Device.

Fun addition to my car

Getting it on sale for $37 was the best! The only issue I've been having is that sometimes when I have it play music, it will play one song and get stuck. I have to tell Alexa to "skip" and then it plays it.

Ok But Redundant with Android Auto

If you have Andriod Auto (or Apple Car Play), I wouldnt waste money on this. I have Android Auto and this offers very similar functionality. If I hadnt gotten it on sale, I probably wouldnt not have bought it.

It is actually slower the respond than the original version. It also would be nice if it was usb-c rather than usb-a.
